Zoom to Fit

Will change the view to have the entire page fit.

F10

Zoom

Will let you select the part of the page you want to zoom to

F9

Previous Zoom

Zooms to the previous page you were viewing. Same as the back arrow on the home tab.

Num +

Zoom In

Zooms in – you can also adjust the zoom speed in Settings à Zoom/Pan à Zoom Speed

Num -

Zoom Out

Zooms out – you can also adjust the zoom speed in Settings à Zoom/Pan à Zoom Speed

A

Arc Tool

After you recorded a point press the A key to toggle no (only press it once don't hold it down) the arc feature and then you can select the middle point of the arc and then end point of the arc (can't be changed)

C

Close Digitizer

Closes off the currently recording takeoff item. If you are recording around a room you can do 3 sides of the room and then press C and it will do the last wall or the 4th side for you.

E

Scroll Up (Pan)

Pans upward from your current view on the page image – you can also adjust the pan speed in Settings à Zoom/Pan à Pan Speed

D

Scroll Down (Pan)

Pans downward from your current view on the page image – you can also adjust the pan speed in Settings à Zoom/Pan à Pan Speed

S

Scroll Left (Pan)

Pans left from your current view on the page image  – you can also adjust the pan speed in Settings à Zoom/Pan à Pan Speed

F

Scroll Right (Pan)

Pans right from your current view on the page image – you can also adjust the pan speed in Settings à Zoom/Pan à Pan Speed

M

Magnifier

Turns your mouse into a magnifier to quickly zoom in. If you have the M key press you can also use the wheel on your mouse to zoom in and out with your magnifier. Can be used while you are digitizing. Good for adding points with precision while you are zoomed out.

B

Create Bookmark

Will create a new bookmark from your current view on the page. It will bring up a input box to give the bookmark a name.

Space bar

Quick Search

It will bring up the search box. You can start typing the item you want to continue with. Select the takeoff item in the existing column or the template column you want and start recording.

Back Space

Undo Last Point 

While you are digitizing you can press back space to undo just the last point you recorded if you record a point at the wrong location.

F2

Edits Selected Item

If you have an item selected on the page list and press F2 it will edit the takeoff item. If you have a section on the page selected and you press F2 it will edit that section you have selected. 

F3

Toggle Digitizer Snap

Turns on or off the snap feature. Snap is great for creating items that are against each other or intersect each other. You will see a red box on the node when you are close to other digitized points. Also works on DWF and DWG page images. Snap is also a button on the bottom bar.

F8

Toggle Angle Snap (Ortho)

Ortho means straight angle. Helps make straight walls or straight takeoffs at a perfectly level angle. Ortho is also a button on the bottom bar. Can be temporarily overwritten by pressing the shift key while digitizing.

Start/Stop Point Recording

At any time you can continue recording from an item by selecting it and pressing the R key or click on the record button on the to bar. It will continue from where you left off.

N

New Section

Allows you to make a new section from the currently selected takeoff item. If you are currently recording and area and you

O

Point Orientation

Rotates selected counts nodes by 90 degrees or rotate the last placed point count recorded

F12

Toggle Image/Estimating Window

Switches between your Home Tab and Estimating Tab

CTRL+ {ARROW Keys}

Adjust

Move Selected Items In the Estimating Window. Also can adjust the order of your properties in the Advanced Properties view.

CTRL + T

Open Page In New Tab

Will open the currently viewed page into a new tab. Which can then be undocked and moved to another screen. This feature is also available on the right click menu of the page list.

Page UP

Previous Page

Loads the previous page on the page list.

Page Down

Next Page

Loads the next page down on the page list.

Ctrl + Z

Undo

Will "Undo" the last changes made.

Ctrl + A

Select All Text

Will "Select All" will select all of the formula you are editing.

Ctrl + X 

Cut

Will "Cut" the selected text or value you have selected to the clipboard.

Ctrl + C

Copy

Will "Copy" the items selected the the clipboard.

Ctrl + V

Paste

Will "Paste" the items in the clipboard.

Left Arrow Key

Move Left

Record Left (Record Mode)

Will move the selected takeoff items on the page image to the Left

Also while in record mode after you have placed a point (node) you can press the Left Arrow key to record your next point to the Left at a specified distance.

Right Arrow Key

Move Right

Record Right (Record Mode)

Will move the selected takeoff items on the page image to the Right

Also while in record mode after you have placed a point (node) you can press the Right Arrow key to record your next point to the Right at a specified distance.

Up Arrow Key

Move Up

Record Up (Record Mode)

Will move the selected takeoff items on the page image to the Up

Also while in record mode after you have placed a point (node) you can press the Up Arrow key to record your next point Up at a specified distance.

Down Arrow Key

Move Down

Record Down (Record Mode)

Will move the selected takeoff items on the page image to the Down

Also while in record mode after you have placed a point (node) you can press the Down Arrow key to record your next point Down at a specified distance.

Shortcut keys can be customized by going to the Settings tab and choosing Settings > Shortcut Keys.
